2026 Georgia Junior National Livestock Show Motorized Vehicle Policy

In an effort to create the safest environment possible for all guests and personal property, the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter requires all non-ADA-compliant motorized vehicles to obtain and display a permit issued by Mikes Golf Carts. This includes golf carts, UTVS, and ATVS. Permits are required for both personal and rented equipment. Permits are not required for automobiles. Motorized vehicle permits will be available for purchase for $50 each. Permits must be purchased using a credit or debit card; no cash or checks will be accepted. All operators of permitted motorized vehicles must have a valid driver's license, be at least 16 years of age, and have proof of state minimum required liability insurance. All operators of permitted motorized vehicles that are rented from Mike's Golf Carts or Byron RV must have a valid driver's license, be at least 18 years of age, and have proof of state minimum required liability insurance.

Any vehicle found operating without a permit, without insurance, unsafely, outside of the approved areas, or by an unlicensed driver will result in the confiscation of the permit from the motorized vehicle and the vehicle will be prohibited from being used the remainder of the show and potentially future shows held on the GNFA grounds. If a motorized vehicle with a revoked permit is found in operation, the vehicle and the permit holder will be removed from GNFA property. All vehicle owners are liable for damage to personal and state property.

Motorized vehicle permits are included with the rental of golf carts rented through Mike's Golf Carts.

$50

Upon permit pick-up, a release form will need to be signed agreeing to the 2026 Permit Policy. The named holder of the insurance and permit will need to be present and provide their driver’s license.

GNFA Motorized Vehicle Policy & Permit Information

Violations & Penalties:

• Violations of this policy may result in fines, suspension of golf cart and/or UTV/SxS privileges, or removal from the GNFA campus.

• Violations including reckless driving, underage operation, and any behavior deemed a dangerous situation should be reported to GNFA Department of Public Safety (478-988-6411). If calling to make a complaint a permit number should be obtained whenever possible.

• Repeat offenders may face further disciplinary action, including a lifetime ban from the GNFA campus.

Enforcement:

• 1st violation: verbal warning

• 2nd violation: $200 fine. This fine can be paid at the Public Safety Building. If the fine is not paid, the violator cannot purchase a permit until the outstanding fine is paid.

• 3rd violation: loss of cart and permitting privileges.

• Security personnel, designated GNFA staff members and designated show superintendents are authorized to enforce this policy.

• Some larger shows and events require GNFA to supplement their staff with off-duty law enforcement. They are also authorized to enforce this policy.
